The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily so they can meet their quota of getting FREE FOOD donated every day to abused and neglected animals in their shelters.
It takes less than a minute (only about 15 seconds actually) to go to their site and click on the purple box titled, ‘Click Here to Give - it’s FREE!’. Every click gives about .6 bowls of food to sheltered dogs. You can also click daily!
Keep in mind that this does not cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. [via.]

So, lately we’ve been seeing a lot of fandom wank on tumblr, mostly character hate and the ongoing ship war between Destiel and Wincest. It goes so far as joking that an actor should just get killed. I won’t go into details, but I had the unpleasure to see a lot of hate on SPN boards. Things have been said that made me sick. And to think that there are some people out there who continue sending hate messages to the cast and producers of SPN, insulting the actors on fan boards and so on… this shouldn’t be ignored.
I thought, why not counteract all the hate with love? And it’s quite simple actually. What we can do to show our support for the actors, the storyline, the characters is sending a short tweet.
If you agree with the following statements, don’t hesitate to show some love. Because the last thing the fans and actors/producers need is hate and more hate.
- You love/like Castiel, think he’s an interesting character who contributes to the show. You support his relationship with the Wincesters, you like his profound bond with Dean and his friendship with Sam. And you want to see more of that in season 8.
- You think the Purgatory storyline is innovative and exciting. You also believe it can help with character growth, especially for the Winchesters, but also Cas.
- You love Team Free Will. You don’t think that one relationship is a substitute for another. You don’t think there is any threat to Sam and Dean’s relationship just by having other characters around.
- You can’t wait for season 8
If you agree, then this is what you can do.
